Locusic, pronounced low-CUE-zick (as in Local Music), is a music streaming service focused on local bands/musicians.
You open the Locusic web app, pick a genre, and music will start playing from the local music scene – wherever you happen to be (as long as we're live there). We're currently live in central Iowa and the Twin Cities, and plan to roll out to the rest of the US.

You'll hear songs from bands based within 50 miles of your current location (or home zip code).
We're currently live in a public Beta mode in the Des Moines metro area (including Ames, IA) and the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
If you're in a band and within 50 miles of Des Moines or the Twin Cities, sign up now (if you haven't yet), and you'll be able to setup an artist profile and upload your songs.
